Venue and Vendor Terms

Version 1.0 · Last updated 10 October 2026

In short

  • These terms apply to a business that lists a venue or its services on EventWiz, on top of our Terms of Use.
  • Keep your listing true, answer enquiries honestly, and use guests’ details only to deliver their event.
  • You set your own prices and terms. We charge nothing you have not agreed to.

1. Who these terms are for

These terms apply to a business — a venue, or a vendor such as a florist, photographer or caterer — that lists on EventWiz, and to the people who use EventWiz for it. They are an agreement between the business and EventWiz, and apply as well as our Terms of Use. The person who accepts them must be allowed to act for the business.

2. Joining and staying listed

  • Give us accurate business details and a valid ABN.
  • When you join, we check your ABN against the Australian Business Register. If the details match, your listing can go live straight away. If they do not, or the check cannot be made, a person at EventWiz reviews it. We never reject a business automatically. If you change your ABN later, it is checked again.
  • Keep your listing true and up to date: your prices, packages, photos, rooms, capacity and availability, and the licences and permits your business needs.

3. Your listing and photos

You keep ownership of your listing, logo and photos. You give EventWiz permission to show them on EventWiz, on your EventWiz page and its own web address, and in the search-engine listings of those pages, for as long as your listing is up.

You must have the right to every photo you upload, and the agreement of any person who can be recognised in it.

4. Enquiries, quotes and bookings

  • Enquiries from hosts come to you through EventWiz. Reply honestly, and do not pass them to anyone else.
  • A quote you send is your offer to the host. A booking is a contract between you and the host; EventWiz is not a party to it.
  • You set your own prices and terms, including your cancellation and refund policy, and they must comply with the Australian Consumer Law.

5. Hosts’ and guests’ information

Through EventWiz you will see personal information about hosts and their guests — for example a guest list with names, tables and dietary needs. You may use it only to deliver that event. You must not use it for marketing, sell it or pass it on; keep it secure; and delete it when you no longer need it for the event.

If the Privacy Act applies to your business, you must comply with it. If you think information you got through EventWiz has been lost or misused, tell us straight away at hello@eventwiz.ai.

6. Your team

You can give your staff access to your business on EventWiz. You are responsible for who you give access to, and for removing it when someone leaves.

7. Fees and payments

We charge no fee, commission or subscription that you have not agreed to. Any that applies is shown to you, with its amount, before it starts.

Payments to your business through EventWiz go into your own Stripe account; EventWiz does not hold your money. Stripe’s own terms apply to that account.

8. Reviews

Hosts and guests who booked or attended can review your business, and you can reply. Do not write reviews of your own business or a competitor’s, or offer anything in return for a review. We may remove a review that breaks these terms or the law.

9. Suspending or leaving

You can close your listing at any time.

We may suspend a listing that misleads hosts, breaks the law or these terms, or draws serious complaints. Unless it is urgent, we will tell you why first and give you a chance to respond.

10. Responsibility

You are responsible for your services, and for the licences, insurance and safety rules that apply to them. As far as the law allows, neither of us is responsible to the other for loss of profit or other indirect loss. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law, including its protections against unfair terms in contracts with small businesses.

11. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters to your business, we will tell you by email or in the app before the change takes effect, and you can close your listing if you do not agree.
